And So It Begins!

The decluttering has begun! The Christmas tree is gone and all decorations are in boxes waiting to go into the attic. I've taken more furniture and "stuff" out of the den and it looks and feels so much better! There is actually open space. I cleaned out the kitchen cabinets and filled 3 bins full of gadgets and junk we rarely use. It will be relocated to shelves in the garage as soon as I install them. Tis The Season To Annoy Me

Sparked by our recent attendance at the Nutcracker and my burgeoning dread over daughter's upcoming birthday party, I've had a few thought about how other people's children should behave when in my home or in a theater. Dh and I were in the audience of the Colbert Report last night. It was awesome.

Tickets are free but hard to come by--you have to check their website frequently to see when some are released and then snag yours immediately. Generally they are out a few months in advance. Even when you manage to get some it doesn't guarantee your admission because they over book every show. Last night's was standing room only.
